16 years ago today composer/lyricist Jonathan Larson died.
He wrote shows such as Tick, Tick…BOOM! and of course RENT. Let’s take a moment to remember the man who changed musical theatre for the better.
I know this is a blog dedicated to Phantom of the Opera but can we take a moment to recognize Jonathan Larson?
He was an amazing man with an amazing message. He wrote many wonderful and beautiful musicals such as RENT and Tick, Tick…BOOM!
He died today 15 years ago, the night before the first performance of RENT was suppose to be performed.
So, let’s just take a moment to recognize the fantastic work Jonathan did and the inspiration he was himself.
